MAINLAND INVESTOR VISA-
Foreign nationals who would like to work and settle in Dubai can apply for an Investor Visa or Partner Visa. What is Investor Visa?
It is also known as the Partner visa and is best suited for expatriates who wish to start a business or invest in an existing business in the UAE. They can work, live and sponsor their families as well. The validity of the investor or partner visa is generally three years.
Earlier, a UAE national or an agent was needed as the majority shareholder but after some recent changes in 2021, more than 1000 activities are permitted 100% ownership in the Dubai Mainland.
What are the documents required?
If you are establishing a company on the mainland, the following documents are required:
- Trade license Copy
- Passport copies of all partners
- Current Visa of all partners or NOC from existing company
- Proof of share of ownership-Memorandum of Association (MOA)
- Photograph with white background
- Establishment Card
- Sponsor’s original Emirates ID
- Bank Account or IBAN Number of the sponsor
- Medical certificate
- Ejari

How to apply?
Those who wish to apply for this visa can do so in the following way:
-Apply for an entry permit at the nearest Amer or immigration department or even through a reputed typing center.
-Regarding your medical test, you will have to visit any government-approved health center (When you fill out the entry permit, you will be given options regarding which health center to visit.
-Emirates ID typing can be done with the help of a typing center that coordinates with the government officials at Amer. Next, submit the application to the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship center. You will need the following documents-Your original Emirates ID, a photograph of your family members, and the Emirates ID application of your family members. If this is your first time applying for Emirates ID, then you will need to provide biometric data like an iris scan and fingerprint. This applies to individuals who are 18 and above.
-You will also need health insurance as part of the Investor Visa application. You can contact us for different options available according to your needs and preferences.
-In the end, all you need to do is proceed with your visa stamping where you need to fill out the application and submit your passport. Once the passport is stamped, it will be delivered to you through a registered courier service.
-UAE Investor or Partner Visa applications are issued in the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) of the emirate in which you reside or any Amer center close to you like Al Twar, Al Jafiliya, Al Quoz. and Dubai Festival City.
