UAE Employment Visa Rules:
If you wish to reside and work in the UAE, you must fulfill the following conditions:
- An individual must be at least eighteen years and above.
- Valid license from the company hiring you.
- You must be hired while you are in the country when you are on a visit visa or you are already working somewhere and wish to switch companies.
- For an employee above the age of sixty-five, the company pays a higher fee. They are divided into 3 categories based on their skills and qualifications-
CATEGORY 1: A bachelor’s degree
CATEGORY 2: A post-secondary diploma in any field
CATEGORY 3: A high school diploma
- This should be done within sixty days or till your work permit is valid. After this, you will receive your labour card and emirates ID

Documents required for an UAE employment visa:
- Original passport and copy (at least six months)
- Passport size photograph with a white background
- Copy of educational certificates attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or consulate in your country and from the UAE Embassy.
- Medical certificate issued by a health center approved by the government.
- Documents from the company including trade license and company card.
